Hesperidin is a polyphenol plant compound that is classified as a bioflavonoid. Flavonoids protect your body from inflammation and free radicals. Hesperidin is most commonly found in citrus fruits, and employed as a natural medicinal remedy. 

Hesperidin, alone or in combination with other citrus bioflavonoids (such as diosmin), is most commonly used for blood vessel conditions. These bioflavonoids were first isolated from plants in the 19th and 20th century, and have been used for decades as a natural therapy to treat pathologies, such as hemorrhoids, varicose veins, venous insufficiency, leg ulcers, and other circulatory issues. It may also alleviate symptoms of menopausal changes, like hot flushes.
